Feeding kids real food ..

We believe strongly in feeding kids real, unprocessed food. Family dinners are a great way to build relationships between family members, while building healthy relationships with food. Kids can be involved in helping with preparing food, even the smallest tasks can be a meaningful contribution. We stress that it is okay for them to not like everything that is served and that it’s okay to not like everything you eat. I confess it took me years to develop a taste for olives. Years of eating them and not liking them, before I didn’t mind them, and before I started eating them by the bowlful. I tell the children (and sometimes adults) at my table this story routinely. It can take many times of trying food before one learns to like it.
